The Columban Ideology

I guess my blog is a sign of good luck and therefore I am qrriting another post so quickly. You see if you read my previous post about GIRL PROBLEMS you would have got to know that due to some foolish doings of mine I had lost contact to around 3-4 friends of mine. I usually go out for a walk everyday and today I decided to walk for a bit long. After an hour I decided that before going back home I sit in thr park across the road for some time. As I was listening to "Give Me Some Sunshine" I heard a small voice calling my name. I ignored it and took a few more steps. Then a combination of different voices shouted - "Niranjan!!!". I turned. To my left 3 girls waved towards me as they were sitting bickering about their life. With them sat a fourth who didn't show any such interest but had a small smirk on her face. I recognized them all. How could I forget them... I had just written about them all a week ago in my public web journal. They included the 3 girls who I had lost due to the fight and also the girl herself. I sat there with them for a couple of seconds that questions started to flow towards me... I was meeting them all face to face after an year or so therefore I was expecting questions like - "How are you?" or -"Hows life?". But as said in the earlier post, you just cant understand women. The first question that came to me was "Where is your dog?"... Not my fault you see... My dog is cuter than anything imaginable but I could have at least got some sympathy. Place me atleast before my dog. Nevermind. After some time the conversation changed to why I stopped apearring on WhatsApp and then back to my dog. One even preordered my dog's baby 3 years in advance. Nevertheless, what I am trying to say is that its either fate or my simple luck that just a few days after writing my blog I end up meeting all of them together. So why not try and write another blog and see if something else strikes me this time.
During this 5 minute talk with my old friends who I united with, a topic rose up which reminded me of something which I wanted to write in my blog. There is another girl Manya Sharma in my  colony who studies in the girls school just opposite to my school. So this girl-friend of mine asks me that do I know Manya? In my batch in my school its almost a sin if you dont know a list of girls and I guess Manya Sharma comes in the top 3.
I had heard a lot of stories about Manya in my school and according to different sources I had got to know that she was also the girlfriend of a couple of Columbans. Then her next question was whether I know Atif Naseer... I should have expected this question coming to me. You see, like the girl hit list we have in my school , even the girls school opposite to us has a hit list and this guy Atif tops all such lists of every school. I dont know what girls see in him other than him being tall and having a decent body but every girl studying in Delhi between the age group of 14-17 must be knowing Atif. He is a celebrity.
I would like to give an example to prove my case:-
Once I was searching a girl in my colony on Facebook who barely anyone in the colony knew about and in the end when I found her I saw that we had one mutual friend. When I checked to see who it was, it was the one and only Atif Naseer. Search any girl one Facebook and you would find Atif as her friend even if he doesnt even know her.
But why am I saying all this? You see in my school if someone finds about anything interesting, it will spread in my school in about a week but if you find out that a guy has a girlfriend or even a girl-friend the news will spread in barely 2 hours. That is the problem of an only boys school. Shortage of girls. The only girls or anyone of that gender we interact with are the teachers who are usually old, fat, short and ugly( apologies to any teacher of my school reading this post.). So what happens is that if any girl comes into topic everyone becomes so damn interested. This is what I want to talk about, something I would like to call THE COLUMBAN IDEOLOGY.
The Columban Ideology is a way a person believes in what he sees and how he interprets it. The Columban Ideology was first brought up in the Columban Bible.
According to this bible you need to adheer to some beliefs if you want to call yourself a Columbanist.
BELIEF 1- A Columban can never have a friend who is a girl.
This is the primary belief and the base of being a Columban. It mainly means you cant even have one girl-friend on Facebook or any other social networking website. If you dont follow this you have to pay for it very severely. If any other Columban finds a girl-friend in your profile then she will start getting friend requests from complete strangers till iternity. As said before, due to shortage of women Columbans dont know how a girl can just be a friend and thus any girl becomes your girlfriend if she is your friend. Thus the name of the girl spreads in the school, even to the juniors as your girlfriend due to which you get mocked till your grave. The sad thing is that even if they see your cousin sister who is in your age group she would become your girlfriend till you explain literally everyone in school that she is just your cousin sister.
BELIEF 2 - A Columban can never talk to a girl.
This is one of the strictest beliefs written in the columban bible and even the school itself trains you for this. Being a boys asylum we are detached from this opposite sex  due to which till we pass grade 12 we are made to talk only to men. The only scope we have of meeting this species is if we join any institute for coaching but our school doesnt appreciate this too. They teach us that you are capable of learning everything on your own due yo which you dont need to join any tution. What they dont understand is that if they dont let us go in such classes we would become dumb when we join a college until we join another boys asylum after 12th. My school doesnt even learn from its mistakes. If this keeps on going we would end up becoming like Rajesh Koothrapalli who was also a Columban. Anyway this training our school provides is really effective cause if you make a Columban stand in front of a girl he wont be able to speak till he is drunk. I had the advantage of talking to this breed in class 7. According to the bible if a girl comes to you and asks you anything what you have to do is give a polite smile and then run back and hide behind a pillar or anything possible. If you dont do this and anyone else is seeing you talking to this girl you start getting mocked that she is your girlfriend etc. The main pillar of the Columban Bible is that if there is any girl in your life, she is your girlfriend.
BELIEF 3 - Never give a phone number of a girl to any Columban.
If there is a rare case that you have a number of a girl who you know well, never entrust the number to any other Columban or show the number in accident. Doing this could be absolutely fatal. A phone number is something which goes viral the fastest in St. Columba's. If you do the mistake of giving a girl's number to a Columban you will start seeing the number everywhere, from the class blackboard to your uniform. Not only this, because of your mistake the girl would have to live a life filled with prank call on your name. Everyday she would start recieving calls from random people saying that they are you  and talk all sorts of crap. This will not only ruin your friendship,it may lead to destroying your friendship with this girl.
BELIEF 4 - Never chat with a girl on WhatsApp
Whenever you have an outing with other Columbans you will always take your phone with you and your friend will check your phone. It is pretty obvious that he will stumble upon WhatsApp. This could be fatal too. If he opens it and sees you have a conversation with a girl he will read the complete conversation and most probably text something stupid back to her which may start a fight between you and her.
The same will occur if you give your Facebook password to any other Columban.
If you follow all these beliefs you can proudly call yourself a true Columban. I sadly have defied all these beliefs at least once in my life so I do know what are the concequences of defying them. If you are not a Columban and you do adhere to all these beliefs then you should probably change your school to Columba's.
During our class 10 graduation all those who had gone against the Bible were awarded by the name of their respective girls whose name they had made viral in their school being written on a blackboard. So approximately 200 names of girls were written on one blackboard and the photo was posted on Facebook for everyone to see. So I am warning you all right now, dont even try to defy these beliefs.
As for me , I have already paid the price.

Girl Problem

Due to studying in a boy's school for more than  11 years there is a problem i am facing and considering that i am a teenager its a life threatening problem. GIRL PROBLEM.
What would a typical boy from a pure breed school of guys do when he is made to stand in front of any girl, fat or size 0? Mos of them would shy away and most probably just stand speechless or run away like a girl. I am not that kind but i do  known many like that from my school. I can easily talk to girls and make a comfortable conversation. Then you may ask what is the LIFE THREATENING problem i am facing?
I don't understand this opposite gender. It is quite a fact that no one can understand this opposite gender and well, that is my problem... I cant , at all , understand how the mind of women work. Sometimes they are angels while sometimes they become demons who eat you till your respect or soul remains. They shatter you into pieces making you do anything. Its evil, really evil.
I really thank my parents that they sent me to a boys asylum and not to a coed. I am so happy that i didn't have to face these life sucking leeches when i was a child or i would have been  alive to write this post right now. The problem my parents did was sending me to a tution class in class 7. It all started there. Not exactly class 7 cause when i was in that grade i was the typical gay student from a boys school who didn't have the nerve to ask an eraser from a girl but after a couple of months passed i got a hang of it. I believed that this species is not such a great threat, and that was the worst move i ever made. The last few months of grade 7 i started interacting to these creatures but not at a high extent, just one chat a week or something but every fatal mistake starts with a small accident. That thought of mine which was sown into my mind at the age of 11 was the first step to my own destruction. But i didn't realize it then. You see girls are like a drug- you like them in the start but only after you become an addict do you understand that you need to get rid of this thing but you just cant. That's the same with me its just that i didn't become an addict and i haven't got involved into anything stupid with this opposite sex.
Anyway, the seed implanted in me started to grow in class 8 when i went to a coaching class outside my  colony. I met new people, i met new characters and then did i get to know that i was completely detached from these colony friends of mine who i barely talked to cause i met them everyday. I wanted to talk to them, guys and the girls. The guys were easy to find but the real prey i was searching for, the girls weren't at reach. I lost hope that i then remembered the ultimate destination where everyone in this entire world stumbled upon at some time or the other - FACEBOOK.
After a few minutes of dedicated effort i found one girl amonat the group of 5 in my batch even though i was close only to this one. The only reason i even remembered her name was because she was the first  girl to ever slap me other than my mother. What happened was that we were giving a test but we all noticed was that there were two girls missing in class. Half way through the test we saw two figures enter the class with a large cake. It was the birthday of one of them and she had brought a full cake for all of us. It was being distributed and we were continuing our math test. The other girl comes to me with a slice of cake and tell me to take it. I jokingly reply that she sit and feed it to me. That's when i realized the first thing about girls - They don't appreciate jokes. She slapped me (not hard) and took the slice. Everyone In class went home with their tummy's full but mine went back empty.
I guess after an year she had forgotten all that cause she accepted the request and we started chatting. She was my only girl - friend then so i was still not that confident to talk to many girls.
The second lesson i learned was during mid September. In my grade 8 coaching class  we were going to have a bio test next week. We were all freaked out when a girl in class who i kind of had a crush on came to me and said," Hey  Niranjan, i have to attend an important function due to which i cant study for the test so can u study well and help me cheat?" I was still in shock that she was talking to me that o just kept nodding. After she had gone back to her wolf pack did i start recollecting what all she had said  and then did i understand that i had put myself in a real mess. But it was my only hope of making an impression. I went home and genuinely studied. Eager to sit beside her and help her i was damn excited. The day of the test came and i went and sat on an empty bench. Even after the question papers were given there was no trace of her. I thought she wouldn't be coming and i started fo using on the test.after few minutes did i realize that someone was budging my shoulder. She was sitting next to me. For a moment i got scared, then i calmed down and slowly moved my answer sheet towards her. The mission was successful. I showed her my complete paper and both satisfied went back home. Next week we got the results and i was stunned. The only exam i genuinely studied and out of 40 i only got a 23. I tilted my head towards the left and saw that she got 26. I was in more shocked. Her paper was a carbon coy of mine but she scores 3 marks more than me. I was disappointed with my effort but i thought she would at least be happy that she scored more than me. After our class she starred at me and in a few seconds my cheeks were red. The second girl who slapped me and this one was hard. Here i learned a new lesson - Never disappoint the expectations of a girl.
After that everything went quite fine other than the fact that this girl left the coaching a few weeks after this incident. I still hope it wasn't cause of me. In 9th i again changed my tuition class and i had come back to a my colony. Here i really started loosing my fear of girls. Even though our batch only had one girl during the first few months i was really comfortable talking to them now. I was getting a hang of it. After a few months a pack of 3 girls joined our batch who i could quickly become friends with. They were great friends and they were the only girls who i knew who hadn't slapped me. So i wasn't scared of them at all. W used to hang out , celebrated each others because birthdays in buzzard ways. They became my friends, good friends. Some of them also became my confidant who i could openly speak to. I had an amazing group of friends and i was happy but after my first term my parents unsatisfied changed my tuition again in the middle of the year to another place a bit far from my home. I was detached but still tried to remain in touch.
Then i did something which i still regret. There was this girl amongst our group who i considered as my sister. She was very caring and considerate. After some time i noticed she was rarely replying my texts. It never occurred to me that she must be having some problem or simply didn't have balance. I was in a bad mood one day and whenever i used to be in a bad mood i used to talk to her as she understood me. She knew how rp calm me down. But suddenly i got so furious cause she wasn't replying that i send her a text saying that she only cares about herself and whenever she wants something she asks me  but when I want her help she would disappear and act as u didn't even exist. I also said that she wasn't a true friend and just a fake. I knew all this wasn't true and that she really was the complete opposite to how i described her but something had gotten into me. She took it personally  and i don't blame her for that but since then i haven't received a single text from her. 2 and a half years and my best friends doesn't reply. It still upsets me but i cant do anything about it. She unfriended me on FACEBOOK and deleted my phone number. I do admit i said too much but from the next day itself i told her sorry repeatedly. Still no difference. I have tried so much but no, she wont reply. I guess i had said too much and it hurt her deep within. We were just friends but this friendship did mean something to me and because of my stupidity i lost a great friend... No, i lost a great sister. Its been 2 and a half years and I am still trying to make some kind of contact with her but i am not able to. Here i learned my 3rd lesson - Think before you say anything to girls.
The worst part about this small argument was that she ended up telling her girlfriends about this who were my friends too and due to this they all stopped taking to me.  After 3 years if hard work i had made about 7-9 girl-friends and i lost them all because of one stupid fight. Right now, one of these nine has again started talking to me and i am happy i have one good girl-friend. She was the second closest to me after this girl who i had a fight with but its fine.
So the main problem i want to address is that i don't know how to handle girls. I don't know but one fight made me loose8 friends of mine just because i don't understand this breed. Due to this i have learned the final and most important lesson of all - Keep away from this species.
NOTE:No one is allowed to ask any questions about these people referred to in this post about their names or them including my parents and other relatives.

Is This What India Wants?

My friends, fellow Indians, Countrymen
Lend me your ears
The time has just come
Our country has awoken
Thou haveth awoken
Now I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone
But would like to help everyone
But do thee want to help anyone?
Do thee care of other’s pain?
Thou humans are like that
Thou want to live by each other’s misery
Not by each other’s happiness.
The way of life can be free and beautiful,
But thou have lost thy way.
Have thee forgotten what has been taught.
Are thou proud thou art an Indian?
If any speak, to him I apologize.
Thy Greed for Money
And Thy Lust for Power
May all backlash on thee again!
Is that what you want?
A country where blood is shed,
Where feelings have no value,
Where Money is the Almighty?
Is that what thou Indians want?
If any speak, to him I apologize.
If that is what thy long for
Then an infernal era is awaiting us
Where Money will dictate its terms
Where lust for Power turn dust red
Where honesty will never give solace to any trouble
Where death will be preferred by many than suffering
Is that what any of thou countrymen want?
If any speak,  to him I apologize.
For thy  lead thou nation into disarray
Where the powerful is deaf
And the common man is dumb
This is the India thou are leading to
This is the present thou shalt face in  future.
 Good friends, Sweet friends
Let me not stir you up
But I would like to see
That from every wound on thy country
Foundation of a new India laid
Where all are equal, and
None is either deaf or dumb
Where feelings defeat greed
Where the fight for hunger overrides lust
What does India want?
It is for you to decide.

It is for you to choose.

My Portrait Of A Lady

To start with my 11th grade classes have started and its just 2 days that i have already started feeling the pressure. The Physics syllabus and the maths concepts are so much that I don't even know how i will study all this for  my papers. But my start ain't that bad for now cause i have been studying daily whatever has been taught in class. But it is a human nature that we start a work with perfection but when it reaches the end it becomes clumsy and untidy(At least that's the case of all my notebooks. The first few pages would be so damn neat but by the time you reach the middle , you will be able to see the REAL fate of my notebook). Still I have my hopes high that i will be able to cope up with the syllabus cause i have been understanding whatever has been taught in class. Also another problem at my shoulders is that my Responsibility burden is still no over... After being a prefect for 4 years in Middle School and 1 year as the Head Prefect I thought my responsibility works are all over but no; In class 11 I have been chosen as the Class Representative. I'll manage it but I just hope that it doesn't become an obstacle for me in 11th and 12th.

So today I was reading our first english chapter "The Portrait Of A Lady" which is about a grandmother who used to live with her grandson in a small village. She used to be the grandson's best friend and would accompany him to the school which was located near a temple. So as the grandson would be studying the Grandmother would be reading rituals in the temple and both of them would go back home together. Later the Grandson's parents call both of them to live with them in the city and they move. Here the grandmother is not able to accompany him to the school and as he grows she sees that she is not able to help him in the things he is being taught in school which makes her sad and lonely. Her only happy moment she has is during the evening when she feeds bread crumbs to sparrows who raid their veranda. Later he moves out for higher studies and she becomes more sad and depressed. When he comes back he sees that still she feeds the sparrows but the flock of sparrows had increased by a huge number. Later she becomes sick and later dies. They place her body in the veranda for some time covered and when they come back to take the corpse they see that the veranda is full of sparrows but they weren't chirping as usual. They were all sitting there beside the corpse in silence. The grandson's mother places some bread crumbs on the floor for them to eat but no one meets an eye. All sit there silently looking at the body. When the family takes the body for the funeral the sparrows fly away quietly. At the end of the story there was a question-
"Is there someone in your family who has been a big part of your life and you will never forget that person even if they pass away?"
Then I immediately remembered my grandmother who I usually call Ammachi(my mother's mother). She has been a big part of my young life.
I don't know when i saw her first but from the time I remember till now I don't know why but she just doesn't seem to age. She looks the same, with that happy little smile always on her face and a sewing needle in hand. You see she has a hobby of sewing cloths. Its not a much of an interesting hobby for at least my generation but by my experience I have seen that my grandmom's generations likes it.  Also I just love my grandmother's food. You can't believe how good she cooks. I die to eat the food she cooks when I go to Kerala.
I still remember when I went to Kerala alone and I stayed a night at my grandmom's place. I got Prawns for dinner because she knows I LOVE Prawns. She made me a Prawn curry, Prawn pickle, Prawn fry and roti. It was heavenly and the next day when I went to Thiruvananthapuram by train she made me around 8 roles filled with prawns for breakfast. I can't forget eating those delicious roles and people staring at me dreaming that they would be in my place eating those prawns.

My grandmom also has another interesting hobby. She participates in all the TV competitions like "TEXT -blah blah- to 000123 to get a free TV" etc. and she does win many things. Its fun to see her being so enthusiastic even at her age. She is so active and healthy and lives alone even at such an old age without feeling lonely and sad. The best thing I find about her is that she also likes animals like I do. She used to have these 2 dogs with her and when I was young I used to spend majority of my time playing with them. It was great; they were technically my first dogs but now I have Eevee. After they passed away my Grandmom got a Parrot. Even though she doesn't have any pets at present but I like my grandmom a lot. She is funny, caring,  loving and as i said earlier the best cook. She is beautiful and I would love to make a portrait of her but i just don't want that a portrait of my grandmother would ever hang on my house's wall and a garland would hang over it. Even though I just see my grandmother only once an year I do care about her and love her a lot.

If my grandmom is reading this right now i just want to say something- I LOVE YOU AMMACHI. :)

Whats Goin' On Right Now...

My papers are over and i have a month of peace in front of me before i enter the realm of class 11. So I have been having a bash for the past 1 week and it has really been amazing. Even though for me amazing right now means siting in front of the computer and playing games and doing some graphic designing but it is fun. I may not be spending my time like the others going out and playing but this is also a way to feel free.
My mom tells me to stop sitting in front of the PC and do something "useful". Presently, I don't know what is that "useful" but i know I will find it out.
When the holidays had started i had thought of a To-Do-List. Of what all I would try to do in these days and till now i don't think I have completed even a few...

1.Reign Of Chaos (RoC)

I had thought of completing my game or at least a major portion of the game so that at least the trailer can be released. For those who don't know I am making a game with my friend Shaurya and even though completing the game will take me at least 3-4 more years, I am pretty sure I will complete it. Its a MOBA which is damn tough to make but I will do it. I have completed the map design, unit and building designs. Whats left are stats, items, heroes and abilities. The problem is they are the toughest to make and i have no idea how to do the programming for all that.

2.Solstice

During this break I had completely forgot about my book and I guess my family did too. The time I remembered it was when I went to a friend of my brother's house and found out his sister had published her book. That is when I thought- "What happened to my book Solstice?"
Its  comedy if you see the history of my book. It hasn't made ANY progress after the day we met a editor i guess 3 years ago.
Its sad to see that my book hasn't got published after seeing how much time we had spent on it but all things happen for a reason. So  I had thought  should I really rewrite the complete book or not and I am not yet sure if I am going to write it AGAIN as when I think of it now it was such a typical story line a kid of 10 would write and now I am 14 so I can't even think like a 10 year old. So this goal is still a mystery.

3. Shakespeare

In my English syllabus I had a Shakespeare play and I genuinely found it interesting . So I told my mom that I would like to read more of these plays but it was my exam period so I could waste  my time then and as I have a lot of time to spare now I have to read at least 2-3 Shakespeare plays now. I have thought of reading "Macbeth" , "As you like it" and "Cleopatra and Antony".
Hope I complete this.

If I am able to complete these 3 tasks then it is going to be amazing. So wish me best of luck as I try to get off this PC and do something USEFUL.
:)

top 10 of 2013

Today is my Birthday. But I am not going to scream and shout and go all bonkers about it. I am not going to sit and play on the computer all day. But I found a much for entertaining way of spending the occasion - Studying Mathematics for my Board paper which starts on Monday.
Isn't that just incredible?! God found the perfect date for the exams to start and my birthday. And that's not it, I have another treat for all. Today is also Justin Bieber's birthday.
NOTE: All Biliebers please leave this blog right away.
So talking about songs and the worst singers of the generation, I came to the idea of writing the best songs of the year 2013. If a regular reader, you must have noticed that every year I do write a top 10 list and this year it is the top 10 songs of 2013.

10. Lorde - Tennis Court
I just had to put this in the top list. I know this song isn't as popular as Team and Royals by Lorde but I just find this song great. The video is so scary to watch and she is too but the song is worth coming in this list.

Even though she has gone bonkers these past years , but I think this bonkers has helped her to make good songs and Wrecking Ball is just a superb song. Must watch even if you don't like her.

Eminem has always been an epic singer and has never dissapointed me. In his new album, I had a choice of keeping Headlights, Monster or Rap God but I just liked this song so much.

I haven't heard any other song of P!nk other than this but this song was way too good. Great music and great lyrics.

I was used to hear so much about this song in school that I was made to listen to it and now it is on Number 6 in the top 10. Nothing else needed to say how good the song is.

Great question , great song, stupid lyrics but won't get tired of listening to it.

Justin Timberlake..... Thats enough to say how great the song is.

Katy Perry has blown my mind with this song. Great beat, music and good lyrics. Its an all in one.

One guy who sings as well as plays the guitar for his songs and makes such a masterpiece. Salute You. My Mom likes this song, I like this song, My dog is scared of this song. Thats just great.

I know she has come twice in the list but her voice is just so great. This song also got Song of the year and billboard no. 1 for so many weeks. Its just amazing. For a 17 year old, I salute her.

Time is the thief of Memories

My school has been truly a home away from home and now I have to leave through the same hallowed gates through which I entered for the first time.
"Life if wonderful"
This is only because we have friends and a place where our friendship is stronger and we feel united i.e. our school.
Friends are the people who are aware of how retarded you are and still manage to be seen in public with you. People who make you laugh till you pee your pants. People who cry for you when one of our special items disappear. When you don't have enough money to get a ice cream , they chip in. Know all of your internet passwords. Who would never make you cry just to be mean.
In this adventurous life I have encountered many such people who are also travelling these lands in the search of their goals. But some amongst them don't realize that they cannot achieve their goals without having a helping hand nearby which will always hold your hand when you slip off the edge of  cliff or when you have to climb a steep  slope. The ones who realize this always continue their quest with a friend with them. Even in famous books and many TV series the protagonist has a group of friends with him when he starts his adventure, even if the aim of the quest if to get a girl you love or to get into the bermuda triangle and all. Never in books do you see a person completing his journey alone. If someone is he ends up failing in his quest. So a friend is always required for the protagonist to move forward.
In my quest, where I am the protagonist friends have a major role to play.  the famous Kabir once said, friendship is like a string, strong  and firm but if it breaks and you try to join it, it will join but there will be a knot on the string. Just like that i also have had friends and people who used to be friends. But the ones who I can solely trust are the real friends who I can rely o on this quest. And many of these friends have I met inside those hallowed gates of my school.
I have remained in the same school from Kindergarten to class 10 from which I graduated yesterday and my experience has been delightful. In these 11 years I have done and gone through so many crazy things and I will never forget these moments. Time has flown by so quickly and feels just like yesterday when I had first entered the Junior School because we've had our share of laughter, fun, free periods, bunks, appreciations cards and time outs.
Come to think of it, it does feel a bit too short.

About seven years ago, we had another Graduation from class 3, we felt apprehensive as to what the middle school was all about. We were scared yet anxious. I still remember those pencil boxes we were gifted when we were welcomed into class 4 by our seniors and our soon to be teachers. Over the years, we became accustomed to new teachers, new friends, and new people. We were being ground into the earth, face down took on a whole new meaning for us during those pyramid practices. These are memories which will be there in our hearts always. But some may get lost as time passes by. Time is the thief of memories and so these memories have to be kept somewhere safe.
I still remember those days in class 5 and 6 when my friends Shaurya, Mayank and I would sit during the recess and quarrel over who was more powerful-Pikachu or Raichu. Those days when they would come to my house and we would sit all night playing Duel Masters. Kids live in a completely different world, where what is real is something we would ignore and what is virtual would be what we would be sucked into. But those were also cherishable times and how much we try we can't recreate them as our mindset has now changed.

I also remember the days Shivam and I would sit in front of the Edmund Rice Hall and discuss about the Protagonists of the book we were going to write and we did write the complete book. After an year or so , we finished the book -"Solstice- Dragon Mountains" in the hope of getting it  published but even after 4 years that hope hasn't changed to reality.
Then in class 9 when I met Shreyas, Pratulya, Trevor and all who were there beside me at all times(and by beside me I refer to Whatsapp , Facebook etc. Means of communications have changed). Over-nights at Shreyas's place with Vaasu and Vibhu were also great moments which I will always remember. Then me becoming the Head Prefect and meeting Aakash Dutt. There are many more and I will remember all.
Our Graduation which was held yesterday was great and such moments can only be recreated in our minds. Such moments and friends are unforgettable and even as time passes by, they have an everlasting role to play in my life.
Life is beautiful and life is short.
And life has to be lived to its fullest.
The world is small and we will meet again
So don't forget me and I won't forget you.
Thank you all for you have helped me grow
My seeds of success you helped me sow.

PS - :) There are some people who also have a major role to play in my life but they can't be mentioned in this blog post because of personal reasons. Don't question who they are and if you are the person I am mentioning about, then don't worry cause you will surely appear in my autobiography - "Touching the Sky" which will be released on January 12th, 2024.
PS- I will honestly try to get it published in this date.                                 When i would be writing the book i will be reading all                        my posts and I will see the date. A good reminder.
